Default Bafta GAME nominees announced

Red Dead Redemption, Call Of Duty: Black Ops and Fifa 11 in contention for the GAME British Academy Video Games Award.

The shortlist for The GAME British Academy Award has been unveiled.
The GAME award is the only category decided by the public, with gamers able to vote for their favourite title out of the ten games shortlisted.

The games selected cover a broad range of genres. They include the operatic sci-fi RPG Mass Effect 2, the noir thriller Heavy Rain, inventive platformer Super Mario Galaxy 2, Rockstar's hugely successful Western Red Dead Redemption, football title Fifa 11, street racer Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, sci-fi FPS Halo Reach, Kinect title Dance Central and creepy puzzle-platformer Limbo, the first downloadable game to be nominated for the award.
Last year's award was won by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with over 65,000 votes, and publisher Activision will be hoping to repeat that success with Call of Duty: Black Ops, which also made this year's shortlist.

Neil Ashurst head of UK PR for the retailer GAME, who sponsor the Bafta awards, said “Our panel of experts have created a fantastic shortlist of the year’s top titles. We encourage everyone who enjoys playing games to vote for their favourite to win our award at this year’s Bafta awards. There is no foregone conclusion as you have all the power."

The Bafta video games awards will be hosted by comedian Dara O'Briain on March 16th at the London Hilton, recognising the best games and achievements in the industry for 2010. Bafta will release the full list of award nominees later this month.
Gamers can vote for their favourite game at www.baftagameaward.com now.

I'll vote for Mass Effect 2 easily. Simply one of the best games I've ever played.

yep. Mass Effect is only game last year that I finished more than twice I would also put Red Dead and Alan Wake somewhere on the list.
Reach was allright. I usually hate halo games but this was ok.
Limbo just great.... only way too short
And god no please NOOO call of duty..
Also I guess I would Place Heavy rain somewhere high on the list becouse I like that type of games... only fact that I don't own ps3... Any news on it for pc ?
