I've just treated myself... again... 30th birthday coming up for a pair of these.

Palit 1280MB GeForce GTX 570 Sonic Platinum NVIDIA Graphics Card

ATI drivers and Crossfire just got too much to bare, and for when multi gpu didnt work I needed something beefier.

So now I have a pair of few month old 6870s for sale if anyone in the UK wants them. lol

Screen was flickering on and off with both the new cards soon as the drivers were installed. Full format, same thing. Very strange.

Rang the supplier and the guy said they were running at a 5% fail rate, seems pretty high for a new line of card.

Nevermind, gone for EVGA Superclocked Ed. now instead.

Maybe PCs arent for you man, they seem to hate you.

Recently got a MSI GTX 570 with the twin frozr 2 cooler on it, so far I love it, quietest, coolest card I've had in 3 or 4 years at least.

New cards are in, and they are absolutely superb. I've been chucking games at it, 3D Mark 11 and allsorts and no problems whatsoever so far.

I'm soooo happy right now.

One thing I noticed right away, the image quality is absolutely awesome on these without tweaking anything.

The AA and IQ compared to my Radeons is incredible. It's like you get free AA almost.

I've got my new system last Friday. I5-760, 8 Gb Ram, (They upgraded from 4 to 8 for free) 500 Gb Harddrive and a MSI Twin Frozr II 560 GTX.

I'm loving it so far. My new computer and the 560 GTX really seem to cut through everything I throw at it like a hot knife through butter.

I'm very impressed with the GTX 560. Seeing Metro 2033 at Very High is a really amazing experience. Revisiting Crysis was a treat as well and Starcraft II looks and feels smoother, more shiny and colorful than ever.

The only small problem I have is that the MSI card makes more noise than expected from the reviews, but that's probably because the case and my room aren't as cool as they could be. But even then, the sound is not annoying at all, it just sounds like a stream of wind, like for example with a fan during summer.

I'm very happy so far with the card. Very fast, great image quality and no problems at all. Just installing a game, clicking start and I can play immediately. It hasn't given me one issue yet over the weekend.

Very solid build quality.

Had been getting lots of BSODs though, mainly from cold boot relating to display drivers. Dropped the CPU overclock down to 3.6Ghz and been able to run Kombustor Xtreme mode in SLI for three hours straight without issue.

I got a feeling the XMS 3 ram doesn't like overclocking, maybe a bit too toasty and these new monster cards have highlighted it.

Nah, the ram was running within the specs. The multiplier took it below 1600Mhz. Just seems soon as I OC the CPU past 3.6 ....system falls to crap.

I will throw in some Patriot Viper's tomorrow, then see how it fares. Could just be unlucky and have an i7 950 from a duff batch.

Yesterday I got a MSI GTX 570 OC from Newegg for $329 & free shipping or $319 after a $10 rebate. I just could not pass on the deal...
I am suppose to receive it tomorrow.
This is going to replace two HD4870 in crossfire.
Let me know if someone wants to buy them, $50 bucks a card. You can have a crossfire for $100
Cheers
