Did a few tests today.

Here it goes...

Configuration

- P6T DELUXE V2
- Core i7 920 D0 @ 4.2Ghz HT OFF (1.28v)
- 6GB DDR3 OCZ CAS 7 @ 800Mhz
- NVidia EVGA GTX 570 SLI (266.58_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_english_whql) - Stock (732/1900)
- ATI 5970 Black Edition (amd_catalyst_11.1a_win7_jan26_whql) - Overclocked to 850/1200
- Corsair HX1000W 80A
- SSD OCZ Vertex 2 60GB + 3 x Seagate 500GB (Raid 0)

Avg. FPS: 74,95%

Very nice battery of tests. I wish they scaled better than they do in games. The only 2 items that the scaling was close to 100% were synthetic benchmarks (3DMark11 and Heaven)

It sort of shows me how pointless it is to get 2 high-end cards right now. I mean you did a very good set of tests, but it appears multi-card is not the way to go at the moment.

No offense, but <70% is what you showed in most of the games. The only tests that scaled good were synthetic tests which don't mean crap.

Also, yes I do have numbers of crossfire scaling. About ~90% with 3 cards, and ~100% with 2 cards.

100% on games? I would like to see that... sadly ATI drivers for Crossfire are really screwed, that's the reason i sold my 5970.

You asked. Not 100%, but I did happen to get 100% in some of my own tests.

Just noticed scaling is much better at 2560x1600... sadly my TV cant get that resolution.
