Default Silverstones HDD Boost

Hi,
Has anyone tried the Silverstone HDD Boost yet? It works like the Seagate Momentus XT. But you can use any size SSD to any size HDD.

Now- what happens if you pair that with another SSD?

you would not get much advantage? It acts as a partial RAID1 solution, mirroring your HDD to the SSD.
Mirroring a SSD would just add the overhead and no advantage...

Sounds like a nice product, allowing to get the best of both world, pairing a 2TB drive with a 32/64GB SSD and enjoying the boost. One review shows a nice boost for read and boot up. No gain for write though

Now, what is the price of this? $40. Not too shabby... Still, does not seem to work with multiple partitions, so no go for me...
