Only cost me 25 over here for the limited edition so I have no complaints.

Games that are set at $60 for you guys, were getting for $40 or there abouts. Never thought i'd see the day something ,other than women, that would be cheaper here.

Seems like the PC port is screwed up and there's a memory leak or something. 30fps at 1680x1050, switch to 1920x1080 and you get solid 60, lol. No official comment on this issue AFAIK.

I LOL'D at that part too!

Seriously this is one of the finest examples of what can be done with the unreal engine as I've ever seen. The cityscapes are absolutely mind blowing. The scale of everything is so over the top awesome it's almost too much to comprehend. The whole giant mining wheel chase that is in the preview videos part was sick and the giant godzilla scene was quite possibly one of the most epic things I've ever witnessed.

This game is over the top fun. Plot isn't really anything to write home about, the general's dialog is like they took a wheel with all the curse words on it, gave it a spin and then filled in one of those ad lib books from back in the day with random curse words when writing his script.

But yeah aside from the fairly thin plot and comically bad dialog, this is easily one of the most entertaining action games I've played in a long time. The weapons, leash, kick, etc all feel very powerful like they are doing serious damage, the combo killing and skill kills are really cool and even after killing relatively the same enemies over and over, it never seems to get old. Whipping someone at you with the leash, kicking them, blowing their head off and then watching their body fly into a bunch of exposed rebar spikes never loses it's charm.

And I had a grin from ear to ear through the whole "remote control pet" sequence That was just too cool.

Also, I think that the game FEELS like a more polished gears of war game. same engine and all but the whole fighting, shooting and killing mechanics all feel very similar. The power behind the weapons firing and the way the character moves all feels very similar only a bit better in just about every way.

Default 3D Vision Temporary Fix

This applies to anyone using 3D Vision and having issues with the game.

If you have 3D Vision and don't feel like waiting for Nvidia to release their next driver to fix this game you can do the following to get it working properly. You will need to know the basics of registry tweaking and using Nvidia Inspector. I am not responsible for any problems if you do something wrong.

First, go into your registry to the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\GameConfigs\ShippingPC-StormGame

Inside there, delete all the values there except for the Default key at the top.

Next, start up Nvidia Inspector and find the Bulletstorm section. Go ahead and add ShippingPC-StormGame.exe using the "Add application to current profile" button. Finally, set the "Antialiasing - Mode" and "Anti-aliasing - Setting" both to application controlled and set the AA in game or you will get weird colors on textures in the game.

I have played about 30 minutes of the game and not encountered any 3D glitches so far and don't feel like waiting for the new driver set.

Just beat it. Very entertaining game. Tons of quick time events. Story turned out a little better than I thought it would be. Can't wait for the sequel!

I am using a 360 pc style controller. I was using the 'rumble' feature in Bulletstorm and then I noticed it didnt work anymore lately. I tried turning it on and off, restarting with both settings. Joining MP games on both settings and switching, uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling. My other games work like AC2. It used to work also, not like im trying for the first time.

thanks for giving me another reason to avoid this game, and hoping that this new "franchise" fails
