Epic asking for money to port GoW on PS3?

MS pays more than sony and has a bigger base and is easier to program for, whats wrong with him saying it? You want him to make up some lie so PS3 fanboys can feel good? LOL, nope.

Yeah but putting the game on another platform would so hurt sales. If anything putting the game on the ps3 would allow them to sell the game to more users in general as well as help the franchise expand outside the USA.

Umm, that's not what I'm saying at all. It's obvious, that a 3rd party studio like Epic stays exclusive for only one reason.
It's the weird wording. It just sounds like, hey, you want GoW Sony? We're up for it, if you pay enough.
Or it could possibly be a problem between them and MS, so they want to show them, that if they don't take care of them, they can easily turn to Sony.

It seems really unprofessional to bring that up in an interview, if my suspicion is true.

That's about the only relevant part of your post.

The user base for both consoles is nearly identical and there are tons of developers who have no issue or problems makings games for it over the past couple of years...including those who claimed it was too difficult to code for, like Valve.

They are soo cheap. I love their games, but I absolutly hate some people in that company. They would proboably earn much more if they would release their games on ps3 and PC (geow2) than microsoft is paying them.

Besides, Gears of War2 would look and run soo better on PC, while it is great on 360 already.
