Question 270.30 (amd64) reports 560Ti has one dual-link, one single-link DVI output

I've just upgraded a smooth running amd64 system from 260.19.36 (with Zotac GF8800 hardware) to 270.30 beta with a Leadtek "WinFast GTX 560 Ti", to try and get more speed.

The NV website and the box my card came in state that the GTX 560 Ti has two dual-link DVI outputs, which I need. Both were definitely working OK with the GF8800.

After the upgrade, DFP-1 does not produce any output. The full Xorg log is attached, but the worrying part is this:

(II) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): NVIDIA GPU GeForce GTX 560 Ti (GF114) at PCI:3:0:0 (GPU-0)
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): Memory: 1048576 kBytes
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): VideoBIOS: 70.24.11.00.2c
(II) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): Detected PCI Express Link width: 16X
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): Interlaced video modes are supported on this GPU
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): Connected display device(s) on GeForce GTX 560 Ti at
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): PCI:3:0:0
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): DFP-0
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): DFP-1
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): DFP-0: 330.0 MHz maximum pixel clock
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): DFP-0: Internal Dual Link TMDS
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): DFP-1: 165.0 MHz maximum pixel clock
(--) Mar 07 17:32:16 NVIDIA(0): DFP-1: Internal Single Link TMDS

Is this a bug in the 270.30 driver? (270.26 behaved identically) or a hardware/firmware issue? Or in other words, how reliable is the NV driver report that DFP-1 is single-link?

If this is a firmware issue, any chance of a workaround in the driver?

Talking Re: 270.30 (amd64) reports 560Ti has one dual-link, one single-link DVI output

UPDATE:

found a quadro FX 580 lying around and things are now working 100% (270.30 driver, no xorg changes at all.) Interestingly, I _still_ see:

(--) Mar 07 18:45:43 NVIDIA(0): DFP-0: 330.0 MHz maximum pixel clock
(--) Mar 07 18:45:43 NVIDIA(0): DFP-0: Internal Dual Link TMDS
(--) Mar 07 18:45:43 NVIDIA(0): DFP-1: 165.0 MHz maximum pixel clock
(--) Mar 07 18:45:43 NVIDIA(0): DFP-1: Internal Single Link TMDS

So I guess single-link is not the issue (makes sense since I'm only after 138Mpix/sec on each port). Anyway I'm back on my feet, great to see NV hardware up to its usual high standard!
