And all these are practically non-existent since they are x86 only.
There is no Adobe Flash with acceleration for amd64 architecture. Therefore, it is useless. |

Not that the hw acceleration does any good as it is now on x86 either... You have to flip-flop versions according what you want to do - browse the net - use the Chrome version ; watch Youtube (and possibly other) HD movies - use the Adobe version.
BTW it seems that getting the hw acceleration in 11 d0 is flaky - it worked for me when i did th etests, now all i get is undefined rendering with the mms.cfg set up... |

And mind you not all videos on different sites have the same encoding and embedded flash player so the results may vary according to this. BTW on youtube what does the video info say? |

Opera 11.01 alpha 1190 ( latest *nix Opera alphas are really not usable )
Ok, so Adobe test page Stage Video status : <empty!?> StageVideo Running : true stage on - uses about 25% of three cores stage off - uses about 50% of three cores video running at the same quality with both Stage on or off ( but worse than https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSGBVzeBUbk where is pushing 24fps@1080p perfectly after buffering anyway; maybe different codec? ) video memory usage rises with stage on Youtube still says undefined rendering ![]() |

I too had isues sometimes to make hw decoding work on Youtube. I dont know why, maybe the constant change in plugin versions has something to do with it. But it works now with the 11 d0 (as i find the 10.2 152 unbearably unstable). But i have 32-bit everything.
BTW Opera version 2014 is safe to use ( the newer ones have plugin problems for now): http://snapshot.opera.com/arc/linux-freebsd/ |

More Flash updates and still no working hardware acceleration, this is really getting frustrating.

Got it working by installing the 32bit vdpau with getlibs. Very unstable though.
