new patch made server browser freeze up as u enter

also my frame rate from 70's is now down to 25-30's~

seems like some of the glow/motionblur crap is also back on max

i tested other games including c1, they are at peak performance.

c2 no matter what graphic setting it is same fps.

Give us custom graphics settings not useless things we dont care about..

I wonder who's the idiot at crytek who didnt tell you you can directly update the demo by navigating to your C2 demo directory, into the bin32 folder and double click Crysis2Launcher.exe to start updating it. -.-

Anyway, i still can login with a username with numbers and symbols in it despite being fixed in this "patch". And the server browser freezes up the first time you open it. Oh well, at least they fixed the "press start to begin" screen.

So, I played it for a couple of hours today. At first I was unimpressed and kept thinking about how much better BBC2 is but the more I played the more I liked it. It's fast paced. You have to think quick and use the right suit powers at the right time. It looks and runs very well but it's not the cutting edge graphics you expect from a Crytek game.

Again, I enjoyed it a lot and will keep playing until the retail arrives.

That wasnt stated in the official blog update at the crysis website. They only said the game will automatically be updated the next time you launch it. When it didnt work, I went to the steam forums to look for the info.

that comparison is pretty pointless, as it is only the basic demo with probably lower res textures and also its only DX9

The demo we have is apparently a xbox 360 port, The full release version we will get will "apparently" be solely for pc.
