GTX570 pretty loud? - Page 5

Follow-up: installed an Accelero Xtreme Plus now. World of difference, so much so that I'm baffled. GPU idle temp is now 31°C (!!) with load never going over 55°C. All this while keeping my card absolute quiet. Can't really hear it inside my case (Fractal Design R3). I do have pretty good airflow now too (bottom front 120mm intake, bottom 140mm intake, rear 120mm outtake - all spinning at around 800rpm). Still, this is about the best upgrade I've bought. Ever.

How many slots does it take up?

Glad you have finally found a solution Lapino

the card is a good one and can handle most everything you throw at it.

Dual slot, not bigger/higher than the stock one. A bit longer though.
