When you get bored of the board can you just RMA it after a year?

Anyone know of a reputable dealer that's still selling 1155 boards? I don't care about the SATA problem.

I can see anyone with a 1st generation i7 would be kind of disappointed with the Sandy Bridge CPUs, especially because you have to buy a new mobo for little perfomance benefits but for anyone like myself that was running an old Dual Core E8400 socket 775 system Sandy Bridge is unreal!! its kinda like winning the lottery, so much computing power available at a respectable price!

If anyone else ordered the P67 motherboards from Newegg, I just got an email saying they have a few fixed boards in stock. There's two SATA ports on my board that have never worked so I figured I may as well get the RMA.

I dunno, I think my new 2600K murders the i7 950 I had before. Got to be the overclocking that does it.

Just got my new Rev3 board put in. I was mistaken in my post above, I meant two USB ports didn't work. They work just fine now. Another thing I noticed is my sound card sounds better which leads me to believe there was something else wrong with my old board as well. Maybe the card is getting more power now?

+1, I had a 4Ghz 860 though, but the 2600k murdered that too.

Depends if you are talking about Gaming performance or Application Performance. I would agree that an overclocked SB will run some Apps faster but gaming depends on so much more than just CPU performance. The main one being the resolution you game at.

The Z68 still just allows for 2 PCI-e slots at x8. All my games are GPU-limited right now running at 5760x1080 in 3D Vision, and the ones that aren't are running at a very high FPS anyways, and thats with my 965 at just 3.9GHz. I think to truly see benefits from running SB at the resolutions I run at, I'm going to need either a 3rd GTX 580, or wait for the next generation of video cards. None of the current SB mobos can do Tri-SLI, and I would just be better served waiting for Sandy Bridge E for the next generation of video cards anyways.
Perhaps I would be better served upgrading my ATI machine to SB now instead, but Newegg is faking me out with all these SB mobos listed but then clicking on them leads to a SOLD OUT screen.
