Yeah I know im not gonna get nothing. What angers me the most is I have no choice but to deal with it because they are the only ISP in my area... YAY for competition! Worse is that in areas that Qwest is as well they offer the same services far cheaper...
I can't wait till they start charging more for netflix, hulu, steam and gaming... because they can. Instances like this makes me what more regulations because the customers constantly get screwed. |

The main problem I have with AT&T's implementation is the overage charges. Unlike Comcasts cap where it's basically there to give people a hard number when they could be considered using too much data, AT&T will gladly bill if you use more than what they consider fair use. Hopefully that is the one practice that Comcast will not attempt try to follow. |

I would prefer a mixture of both. My issue with comcasts system is that after one warning they can terminate my service and refuse to provide me service for a year... So I would be without Internet completely. I am held by the balls.
At least I know my node isn't congested, I get awesome speeds all day. Thank god for rednecks who don't care for high speed Internet. |

On my DSL connection I only go over 600 KBps on rare sites that are willing to feed me the speed. But I am happy to run more than one DL at a time, did not know people still only limited themselves to one DL at a time. I know I for one will have to cut back on doing PC build outs/updates for other people at my home so I have that room for gaming and torrents.
