Never used iMovie but that Apple software isn't free is it? Windows live movie maker is a nice free tool.

As for MS, can't anybody just download the Movie Maker app or is that "illegal" too? Very interesting. |

I think you aren't getting what we are trying to say. MS cannot bundle some apps due to anti monopoly laws. It's free and legal to have them available online free. They are silly laws as Apple can bundle and restrict what they wish. Yet MS has always allowed 3rd party installs and more. Don't get me wrong. I love my iPhone 4 it's a great bit of gear. It's just frustrating to see the way Apple can do one thing while MS gets strung up.

Exactly but the laws seem to target MS specifically.

I thought iMovie came with the new ipad2 already but I couldn't find it anywhere on it. I went to the app store and found it... for $4.99
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/imovie/id377298193?mt=8I think it should be free like Microsoft's Movie Maker software. |

Yeah. Why bundle so much then charge for something like iMovie? Licensing fees? Then again Apple has their own Quicktimes.

They even charge you for that Garageband thing. Who would pay for something like that?
