I uninstalled everything made with apple from CP then I re downloaded QT and IT and installed them and now Itunes finally opens

Maybe try uninstalling any codec packs you might have installed as they could interfere with Itunes.
No, your idea seems good, but I can't not agree with you. There is other choice.

Glad to hear you got it fixed nate. One of my friends had a problem where his iPod wouldn't sync. Turns out he had all these weird extensions installed in iTunes that were messing it up badly. I had to uninstall, clean the registry manually, then reinstall to get it to work.

iTunes is bloatware, but a necessity for iPods.

thats why i simply will not buy another ipod or any other device requires itunes.

when I had my last ipod, device was ok, but software was horrible.
