Default RH8, Dell i8200, 1600x1200, GeForce

is this normal? I see everyone talking about these HUGE FPS, like 5 digit ones. what res are you using for those?

8334 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1666.800 FPS
7965 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1593.000 FPS
6597 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1319.400 FPS
9094 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1818.800 FPS
9306 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1861.200 FPS
9370 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1874.000 FPS
9517 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1903.400 FPS
9659 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1931.800 FPS
8742 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1748.400 FPS
8537 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1707.400 FPS
9729 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1945.800 FPS
9447 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1889.400 FPS
9806 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1961.200 FPS

also, what is all this extra stuff and why is the nVidia stuff seem to be Disabled?

[daevid=pts/1]> cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/*

and finally, i think this is a known issue and perhaps there's no solution for it yet as i haven't found one out there so far, but whenever my notebook suspends (i.e i shut the lid), X-windows comes back like 1/4 the size, but magnified. Is there any way to fix or disable that from happening (aside from shutting down X before closing the lid each time)?

Some more information, when i run GLGears as a screensaver (Gnome is my WM), it doesn't always work. sometimes the screen is just blank. sometimes it says "xscreensaver: unrecognized visual 'any'", but if i play with the "any, best, GL" options i can sometimes get it to work once. then it doesn't again. i can launch the 'glxgears' every time however. but if i type this in a terminal window "/usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver/gears -fps -root" it doesn't work (i belive this is part of the problem) but omiting the -root works every time.

I notice in my XFConfig-4 file i have a line that says Option "NoLogo" "0" # If not set to 0 (off) you must exit X
before suspend! I'm sure i copied this from someone elses config file. is this still required in the 4496 driver? and why would the logo have ANY bearing on suspend?!
