Was one of the suggested kits from my EVGA p55. XMP worked perfect, 7-7-7-24 1.6v. I asked G.Skill support about the P67 and they said oh you want "this" kit and pointed me to one of the tested p67 kits. So I replied and said, "why, won't these work?" I got another reply "yes, those will work fine". I was worried about it at first. But my 8GB (4x2GB) at 7-7-7-24, 1T has been running like butter since the build. |

sandy bridge needs memory at 1.5v anything higher can kill it andi killed my qx9650 at 1.48v core so 1.45 will kill your cpu I would say 1.37v is the max for sandy.
You might be able to get the memory voltage down to 1.5v with that kit. Don't tempt fate! I recommend you see this site for voltage information http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=6&subcat=1275

Well intel says otherwise, you can speak with ram manufactures, but in the end they never designed the processor with the built in memory controller. The older 1156 processors can take upto 1.65v.
I just don't want you to kill your processor like I did. As for the 1.52v max voltage it's referring to the memory controllers. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=266145 Amd processors can take higher voltage I guess due to the lowk process they use. Been overclocking for 15 years now so no stranger to this.

Same here, but I push the voltage limits every generation and have never had one die. I've also been water cooling for years too which keeps the heat at bay and I have a feeling thats more the reason electronics die, at least in my years of experience. My current memory kit had no problems at 8-8-8-24 @ 1.5v anyways. Thats where it's at now. |

Your fine at 1.5v it's in spec for the memory controller.
