I don't give a rip about this game not having DX10 or DX11 or DX12 abilities TBH. I just know that the game looks good visually . . . and that's about it. I'll grab this during Steam's Christmas sale lol.

Is that really true? I'm pretty sure benchmarks of the demo indicated you need a 560ti just to get a 45fps average at 1920, and that's without AA.

There are some very angry people in this thread. It's like Cevat Yerli personally came to their house and kicked their puppy.

I could care less about in game sliders etc if we can still tweak the .INF's. And the gameplay is reportedly alot better than the first, so that's also a plus.

Maybe because Crysis was their puppy and the PC community was proud of it. improving the gameplay and making it like CoD in 4 years with DX9 is as good as kicking someone in the nuts.

bought it, played it.. i gotta say Its not Crysis 1 for sure but Crysis 2 is not all that bad as some say it is. graphic wise yes its dumbed-down even my 6 year old machine can play extreme settings, but it still looks good. If you want to buy this game to benchmark your system like we all did when Crysis 1 came out then don't... buy it if you like to see some better game play than Crysis 1.

I have to wait for the weekend to play but I'm really looking forward to it. IGN gave it a glowing review. I like the streamlined nansuit from the MP demo. I think the extreme graphics of the first hurt sales so it makes sense that they toned it down a bit.

It looks like they were pressed for time and probably didn't finish some PC specific extras.

Regardless, I support Crytek. They've done a lot for PC gaming. They've made some of my favorite games. They deserve to cash in and be rewarded for the great work they've done in 3D graphics.

The more I hear about this game, the more I feel this way. Still not paying $60. Just don't feel to put up that much money for any game. Like I said, my limit will be $45 for the awesome games, $30 or less for all the rest.

I'm gonna' get this game, it just might be a while.

If I get this I will wait for an extreme sale of $10. Thats what I got Black Ops for. And boy am I glad - it SUCKED. Gave it away to a neighbor.
