Umm... do you mean $16,000,000 = 16ms? Or 16 miliseconds = 16ms? If the former, that's a huge budget. If the later... still dun get it.

This makes sense... but I don't like the idea of it taking one and a third years just to get this patch out. If it takes that long, it better look freaking amazing and utilize DX11 very well, while fixing a boat load of bugs in the PC version. Heck, 16 months is half the time most games are in development now days.

Regardless, I do agree that it sounds promising.

Like I said in the other thread, Crysis 1 was a visual revolution, Crysis 2 is a performance/optimization revolution. This can be a really, really good thing for upcoming PC version of CryEngine 3 games

Crysis 2 performs better because it is less demanding.

Yeah and Crysis 1 was released dual-core optimised not multi-core.

Thanks - I have to admit I don't understand exactly what's what, but that does clarify a lot.

FYI - you could fit what I know about game development in about one paragraph.

Even if it is true I can't imagine that it would take the community more than a couple of hours to release details on how to enable it on all cards.
