That is correct, the fixes included in 270.18 only addressed rendering problems. The performance issue has been reproduced and is currently being looked at.

We are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. Until the fix is available, please work around this issue by disabling trapezoid acceleration:
`nvidia-settings -a AccelerateTrapezoids=0` |

It seemed to work, but scrolling becomes a bit laggy in firefox in certain web pages, e.g. gmail, and in this forum when scrolling to the top where the Message box is displayed on the newreply.php page.
Anyway, I am content that at least you have this bug in your todo list... |
