Hi, just wanted to know if any of you are playing games like cod:black ops, crysis 2 in 3d as I'm looking to invest in a 3dtv.
Also can you let me know how they look on both Xbox 360 and ps3. Cheers

I've been playing Killzone 3 in 3D on my Sammysung and it's pretty fun. Works better than I though it would, it however was made with 3D in mind. Some other games have support added as an after thought.
I'm eager to try the HD Prince of Perisa in 3D on PSN. |

Would you happen to have black ops or crysis 2 on both 360 and ps3? I just want to know if there are any differences between them as I know you have to use the side by side setting on the tv for 360 to work in 3d.

The 3D in Crysis 2 is faked and looks horrible compared to games like Killzone 3. I've only played the PC version, but the console versions should look the same, or worse.

I don't have Crysis or BLOPs, but judging from the menu options I've seen it's not true 3D for modern TVs, it's side by side and as Bah! said it's not quite as good as the newer titles made for modern displays. Another things to note, with most console games when you chuck them in 3D they lower the res, Killzone is a little more chunky in 3D, but that's off set by the glasses themselves, and most of the time the 3D pro outweights the cons, but that'll change from title to title.

I will probably be buying a 3dtv when Uncharted 3 comes out... that game is gonna be friggin SWEET.
Speaking of 3d, my nephew got a 3ds today... makes me wanna vomit... being able to move the screen is NOT good. It was ok on SSFIV3D (lulz), but then I tried Rayman 3d and had to turn the 3d off... it made me want to blow chunks all over myself. And I know people will just say, "You hate everything Nintendo," and that would be mostly true, but I WANTED to like the 3DS... I kept hearing people hype it up as being a game changer, and it just doesn't do much for me. I was hoping to be blown away because I plan on getting a 3DTV that doesn't require glasses eventually, but gaming on my 3d monitor for the PC has been much more pleasant than the 3DS. |

got a 3DS coming tomorrow. I tried it at Best Buy and the thing is ace! graphics are a bit compromised but the autostereoscopic screen functions perfectly. for my eyes at least, YMMV of course.

The problem with it is you have to have it PERFECT for it to look ok... if I tilted it slightly it started looking messed up and made me wanna blow chunks.
