The heatsink on the 275 was pretty caked in a brownish carpet of dust. The area I live in accumulates alot of dust naturally.

The only thing I can think of that increased my performance was Clear my CMOS settings and reset them. Other than that, I think it was really the heat slowing me down.

Yes prolonged periods of thermal throttling can't be good.

Damn, your PC must of been covered in dust and your CPU, GPU became baking tins!! geez i am also suprised by the results but i have never let my PC get that dusty to experience those type of issues!!
