Wow...a 590..nice. Like ATI's 6990, a little rich for my tastes. $700+ bucks, yikes!

I agree on the yikes part, but I tell myself that since my 4870X2 is three years old that its ok. Ummm...yeah...I tell myself that anyway

I remember seeing a while back all in one gpu water cooling but I cant seem to find it...

just replaced my zotac gtx 580 amp with a evga gtx 590. Awesome. Still using the galaxy gtx 460 razor as my physx card. Had to get the razor because it's single slot and I need my other pci-e slots for my xfi fatal1ty champ sound and killer 2100 nic. Gave the amp to my friend who is living in the same house and he gave me his vanilla gtx 580 to sell.

just replaced my aging 20" lcd and ATi 4870 with a 24" led and a GTX570. Was torn between that or a 6970. Price is pretty much exactly the same. Went with the 570 in the end cause it seems to have a very slight edge at 1920x1080 in most games i've seen benchmarked and it comes with physx which is a bonus. Hooked it up last night, very happy. Crysis 2 is motoring along nicely at the hardcore setting.

Do you feel like the dual core is bottlenecking you a lot, or is it still holding up? Probably depends a lot on the game. I pulled the trigger on a 570 as well, and I got a e6600 @ 3.4GHz...so should be interesting to see.

BFBC2 runs smooth as a baby's bottom now at 1920 x 1080 hbao on

on some of the maps, i almost try to squint and look through the brightness. i can hear my eyes (with their tremendous astigmatism) scream out in pain
