Default Z68 Mainboards anyone?

Hi,

one of my systems bit the dust and needs replacement (R.I.P. so939).
I already have so775 and so1366 systems. So775 is already a bit dated and on its way out so I'm looking at something future-proof (for the next 12-18 months).
So if any Z68 mobo is just around the corner I'd bite and get one and a 2600k but if I have to wait another 6-8 weeks I could also wait another 3 months and get a X79. Help !

TIA
