they really should have fixed this.

so they moved the favorites to the other side, they should atleast fixed the arrow. put the arrow on the left side, so it actually would make some sence.

I never even used that arrow before so I just clicked it now in IE7. It just opens the site in a new tab so I don't see what difference it makes being on the left or right.
I wish they would have left the Favorites bar on the left though just because I was used to it there.

in IE7 and IE8 it made sence, since the favorites window was on left, and arrow pointed to the right to the actual browser were website would open.

in IE9 when they moved the favorites window, arrow should have been moved as well

Figured out how to use the no tracking feature. Its located under the gear symbol on the right, safety, tracking protection. You can then click Get A Tracking Protection List Online and then choose from a number of well managed tracking lists which block ads and stop sites from following you around the internt. I searched for a hard drive in google the other day and within 2 seconds received an email ad from Tiger Direct with a page full of hard drives, so they were obviously tracking me.

Yea I just noticed the fonts and I don't care for it either. Why did they mess with fonts?

It is quite a bit faster than IE8 when opening sites. The Sunspider java performance test is a hell of a lot faster for me now too. With IE8 it was scoring crappier than most of the tablets and my computer is no slouch. Score with IE8 was about 4,000ms with IE9 it is 232ms

Could probably cut those number down if I oc'ed the processor. (Using I7 2600K at stock)

I've been using it for a while now alongside FF 4. My usual pattern was to use FF as default, try other browsers as they become available and always go back to FF.

IE9 is now my default browser and I hardly use FF.

1 - It's fast, as in "very".

2 - I like the ActiveX filtering, tracking protection, site pinning feature etc.

I know many of the features are also available with FF, but I like IE's cleaner interface and the lack of a bloated feeling while browsing.

I still like FF, but I'm really glad I gave IE9 a fair shake, as I'm a former IE hater...

The trouble with Firefox is that they yet don't have a 64bit version and for this reason I am thinking that IE9 is better on 64 bits OS.
