Default nvidia-smi segmentation fault

I get a segmentation fault from nvidia-smi when I run it on RHEL 5.5 with the NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-260.19.44 driver. The hardware is a Dell 815 with 48 cores and 256 GB of RAM. The segmentation fault occurs as either a normal user or as root.

How can I fix this?

Thank you,

Scott

Default Re: nvidia-smi segmentation fault

can you read http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46678 and generate a good report with the debug ( -logverbose 6 ) info as instructed after the issue appears ?
