i love cs, i wouldn't mind an updated engine version of it, just add a bit more tweaks to it, like sprinting/ironside, more guns.

i am guessing they are saving it for hl2 ep3

defiantly cs is one of my all time multiplayer games. its just a bit boring atm because there is nothing new added to it. and i've gotten used to cod mw1/mw2 and black ops game style...which is hard to get back to cs style...

still love the cs series.

I personally think they should leave CS just the way it is. CS2 will need to be something very next gen and different from the old CS, which is pretty much what the gameplay and style in CS is about. Changing it to something other than CS isnt CS anymore.

I still have the Counter-Strike Beta 1 .exe file... lol. Anyone else remember the cheat code you could type in the console to get $1000 every time you typed it?

I stopped playing that game back on Beta 6 I think it was. It was a blast, but got old after awhile.

That was when the only difference between Tangos and CTs were one had short sleeves. lol Those were the days.
