I've played them. Not the best ports and at the time there wasn't a good PC joystick. Actually, there still isn't one with a decent DPAD unless you're using a PS2/3 to USB converter.

How are they compared to MAME, since that's the actual arcade version.

MK4 Arcade is far better with more polygon counts on fighters, better textures, etc. PC version of MK4 was a poor port with low polygon counts on fighters and blurry textures. Check some clips on YouTube.

I got this from GF yesterday, and it rocks. I can't believe how well they did this game. The story mode is the best I have ever seen in a fighting game. It's a definite keeper.

My favs were MK II and MK3, at least you can play them using MAME on the PC. I used to play MK all the time in the arcades.

wow dude....mk has been on pc since the dawn of time!....

it stopped after 4.

i watched the entire single player story mode on utube...

i gotta say the story mode was pretty epic!...its like watching an awesome mk movie!

such a shame no pc version...

i hope capcom does a similar story line as well...just have one story, then have the arcade mode.

Should have said talking about the later ones but I didn't know the early ones were actually. I only started using a PC about during the Half Life 1 days.

so has anyone compared the 360 to PS3 i have it for 360 but shall i also get it for PS3 or is the difference so samll it isn´t worth it?

Both are identical in terms of content, but the PS3 version has Kratos as an extra fighter. I have the PS3 version and my only beef with the game is that the netcode is pretty godawful, but I mostly just play with friends locally or with friends online who have good connections.
