IMO intel needs to get back on track towards what it was originally doing with the Core line of processors: Increase processor speed while keeping TDP to a minimum.

You'll eventually see it... maybe not with the first E batch, but... you never know what kind of surprise may Intel be holding up to their sleeve. Maybe they're refining their current design with 8 cores in mind but they don't want to disclose any detail until AMD makes its move with the FX processors so they can deliver another strike.

Of course, this is just pure speculation and almost non-sensical talk, but... hey, be positive about it, you'll eventually get what you want
