Yea looks decent but it uses a TN panel, the main attraction for me with the LG was its use of an IPS panel.

Ever since I bought a PVA based monitor it made me realize TN's aren't all that great, other than having fast response for gaming.

My current PX2370 TN panel has more accurate color than the PVA sitting next to it but everyone thinks the PVA looks better. (much higher contrast ratio / deep black levels / no backlight bleed / wider viewing angle).

I don't much care about it being a TN panel. After using 120hz, it's hard to go back to 60hz.

I'm really liking the Dell UltraSharp U2711. It doesn't do 120hz, but damn does it look nice. It's got about 27ms of input lag, 15ms on average, so it shouldn't be too bad. Maybe I should just hang on to my current monitor and wait for the next crop of monitors that'll have less input lag and 117% color gamut. The 30 inch has 117% color gamut, but that's just too big if I'm going to be sitting in front of the screen. I doubt we'll see any 120Hz S-IPS panels. Where are you OLED?

Anyone know if the Dell panels do 10-bit color with Displayport, even though there are no NVIDIA Geforce cards that yet offer such a setting?

The Apple is similar to the Dell 27" but can't keep up when it comes to colors because it's only a WLED screen. The HP is on par with the Dells but better suited for PC gaming.

No Image Scaler would mean I wouldn't see the boot sequence. I think I'll consider the DELL then. What's 1 frame of lag anyway?
