I'm using an older card (GeForce FX 5200) for a dual head display. When the driver is built or inserted I get the following error:
"shared memory test failes (invalid argument)" I confirmed that CONFIG_SYSVIPC is enabled in the kernel - # uname -r 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5 # grep SYSVIPC /boot/config-2.6.18-238.9.1.el5 /boot/config-2.6.18-238.9.1.el5:CONFIG_SYSVIPC=y Shared memory is mounted and available - # mount | grep shm tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw) Is the "invalid argument" part of the error telling me something different? This is a stock RHEL 5.6 kernel and I would think the driver could insert fine. Any ideas? Thanks. |
