yea, games really don't hold my attention anymore. I look at my ps3 titles and the box of pc games in my basement from the last couple of years and 98% haven't been beat. Hell some are lucky to have an hour of gameplay on them. I think it's a combo of my age and just badly developed games. Even maybe they're to hard and I get bored of them quickly.

Regardless, I don't game like I use to.

Hey there seem to be many of my friends who agree with me n do believe that gaming was never and can never be boring. for a while one can think to get your hands off it, but a true gamer cannot leave gaming for always.

Well, i haven't upgraded my pc in 6 or 7 years, i've got pencils stuck in the tower somewhere, which goes to show how much excitement i have for new titles.

There's never been a game that has made me want to upgrade, this old athlon 3000+ and GeForce 7600GT still do the job.

When all else fails, try alcoholism. It works for me.

The only downside is going to jail every now and then. That place SUCKS. They won't let you out.

Me: "Let me outta here, f*cker!"

Cop: "Nuh-uh!"

Me: "Come on, asshole, let me outta here."

They don't like it when you call 'em names, apparently. I thought those were terms of endearment.

Wow, stickied.

My wife and I have been thinking of joining 5K marathons. It should be fun and it would clear my mind from all the hassle of sitting in front of the PC for many hours a day, and of course I'll get some needed exercise. I just need to buy us some pair of decent running shoes.

I wish I could say I was tired of drinking and smoking too lol. It'll come to me.

Biggest problem is everyone is making stupid games for mass market and biggest reason behind that is consoles. Everyone wants the biggest share of the pie, biggest payout. And then they release stupid recycled **** like COD, Sims, Rock Band, Final Fantasy and all the other BS. They keep making games more idiot proof, more simple, more "dumbedown"

Great games like Deus Ex, Baldurs Gate, Thief, Carmageddon are all dead.

I can play a game for 1-2 hours and lost intrest, there are still games out there that will get my attention, for example Dragon Age Origins, Neverwinter Nights 2, Witcher1&2. But thats really a rare occurance now.

In spare time I preffer to spend time with my GF, family or friends. Go out finshing, biking, hiking, just walking somewhere. Go to events for photography hobby. Instead of being glued to a couch.

Agreed. Every once in a while I will play thief again because there is nothing modern like it. Stalker is close but meh.

Besides, I have a computer based job so the last thing I want to do is go home and get back in front of a pc
