Just wondering, anyone picking up LA Noire?
First console game I have genuinely been interested in for months, since Red Dead basically. Looks superb. Should have my copy through tomorrow. http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/la-noire 90 on Metacritic, needs looking at.

Been playing it, definitely feels like a good game so far. The detective and crime-solving elements are pretty well done, in my opinion. It almost feels like the game Mafia 2 should have been in its storytelling and mission structuring, and also in its similar time period and setting, just on the other side of the law.

I've read some reviews on this game. It really does sound cool. I wish I had the money to pick it up.

It is amazing. Do yourselves a favor and turn off the music cues and vibrations as soon as you start the game... will extend the game A LOT.
