Runs great on my rig at 2560x1600 on Ultra settings with the latest beta drivers (Ubersampling disabled, obviously). I do have drop my Windows resolution down to 1920x1200 to get the game to load, though (seems to be a bug with Windows 7 64-bit).
Still getting use the new combat system. The camera tracking works well, but it seems a bit of a click-fest. 3 hours in and I'm still in the Prologue. This game rocks. I think Bioware just got taken behind the woodshed.

Love the look of the game, one of the best looking PC games, so much detail in character models.
Weird that they changed the voice actor for the kingslayer and Ioverth (elf guy) I kinda liked the old voices in the debut video ![]() So far combat is more rewarding than the original but I probably won't be able to fully judge until I start unlocking some of the extra skills and start using all the preparations.

playing on normal is challenge enough for me so far; i've died several times already, and just beat the nub prince in the tower. there still seem to be combos you can use with teh swords but i haven't gotten it all down yet. also have to use 'e' quite a bit to block, and cast a **** ton of signs.

Maybe not... Antivirus programs don't like witcher2.exe for some reason. Avast deleted my exe a few times, and I finally had to go through an tell it to not sandbox the process and to not scan the bin directory. It's possible his AV software is blocking the exe from writing to the disk.
