Pretty good for socket 1155. I would have expected more with triple crossfire. I'm waiting for socket 2011 for a true upgrade.

Yeah, I'm figuring on getting a socket 2011 and a compatible pair of 28nm high end graphic cards to go with it when the time comes. Be it ati or nvidia. Whichever performs the most efficient.

Not like ati scores matter. It's so easy to disable tessellation.

ati wins w/ it on or off. so its not like nvidia's gtx 485m sli scores matter? lol. trolling isnt healthy bro.

AMD optimized doesn't affect tessellation in 3dmark11. Though it is clear that you did turn it off on your other score since it is a lot higher. I don't get why people feel the need to cheat in a benchmark.

It's a PAIR of 6970M's, not one. That score looks perfect for Crossfire mobile chips. I'm having difficulty seeing the problem here. If it was just one GPU, I'd see the problem since a single 6970 should not beat a GTX 580 unless the 6970 is overclocked to high hell and back while the GTX 580 is pure stock speed. But with 2 mobile 6970s in Crossfire, that looks like a proper score to me.

The first score he posted is without tessellation, the second score is with tessellation, hence why it's a lot lower. He even said it himself.

The least they could do is let you have your native resolution in the free version FFS.

Pretty ****ing useless benchmark at 1280 is pretty CPU limited.

But the graphics score went up...

You have to realize that the final score is a composite of graphics and cpu. If there's hardly any gain in SYSTEM performance with better graphics cards it won't go up much
