H70 is almost as good as the Noctua NH-D14, the best air cooler around. That seems pretty good to me...

If you already have a good Noctua cooler, then no, it's not worth it, but the upcoming H80/H100 might change that.

I like my H70. It's nothing groundbreaking performance wise, but it does strike a good balance between noise and performance when the voltage reducers are used. I had to buy separate fans to replace the Corsair ones due to noise at high RPMs.

I don't know about them. All that I know is that my cooler is solid, and I have yet to experience any problems with it. I have had air coolers in the past that went full retard on me, but I have yet to have my CoolIT or my H70 to go bad.
