I'm going to upgrate my computer's:
1. Mobo 2. CPU 3. Memory 4. CPU Fan I have a $500 limit, could someone please set me in the right dir'n, I haven't looked at CPU's or mobos in a long time... While I'm at it I may as well do my parents, they have a $300 budget, would appreciate recommendations for both... ![]() Thanks, Vanz |

hmmm, have that fan already, nice... my current mobo is msi and it's died, I'm going steer away from MSI from now on as that's the 2nd one I've owned that's crapped out now... but thanks that's gets me in the general dir'n....
so Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge is the best bang for my buck in my price range? |

if you want a i5 2500K, get it from microcenter, they are quite cheap there:
