Default Need help with proper driver and installation

I am running a linux system with driver NVIDIA-Linux-X86-1.0-7174-PKG1 and a Geforce FX 5500 PCI card

I would like to install a GT 220 1024 mb PCi-e card that I just purchased and install the latest drivers

Is there anything I need to do to make it recognize the PCI- express card slot and what Linux driver should I be using

Thanks in advance for any help

Nothing special really. Just pop it in and go unless you have onboard graphics which you should disable in the BIOS or have it select the PCI-Express slot first for graphics. Personally, I like pre-release - beta drivers.
