I noticed that after updating to 275.09.x, in the systray all applications have the same icon as the first application started.
In the screenshot the first application started is empathy and second is gnote. Gnote has the empathy icon, which is wrong. This issue is not present in the stable nvidia version, nor with nouveau |

Yes, I see the same thing. I've been meaning to create a thread about it. Thanks.
This is present in 275.09 and 275.09.04. |

I can confirm this bug too. Is there a prerelease driver that fixes it?

It's a bug, but wake me when .desktop files are sorted out properly when I search for an application in Gnome-Shell. The latest still is a crap shoot, even on Debian Experimental for GNOME 3.x.

I can see it here too (Fedora 15 x86_64, xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-275.09.07-1.fc15.x86_64). It is quite funny actually

And the problem isn't only with tray icons, it also happens with others programs (most of them I have seen were in python), and even with webbrowser. It seems related to gdk-pixbuf somehow...

It should be fixed in the next 280.* release.
