I am trying distribute the screen output to two displays that have the same resolution. Be aware that I am using a passive splitter (on only one hdmi port) that has no facility to do a per channel handshake.
Using Windows (on the same machine) this works flawlessly. Using Linux I either don't get highres (Ubuntu) but only 640x480px. Or I get an "unsopported mode" message on my Samsung (Openelec). Someone told me to try some twinview settings but IMO this is not a twinview thing as I am not using two different ports. Could anyone give me some heads-up on how to get this to work on Linux? |
