This is a pretty heavy hitter on my system. I had to turn "Shaders" from Ultra to Extreme to get it to play as smooth as I like. That's the one that made the most difference in performance. I also have Blur to Low and Post Processing to High. No autoexec settings except for no game intros. The game doesn't seem very optimized for performance. The game looks nice but I thought it looked nice before. Pretty hard to me to tell that much difference while playing the game. I would have to have another monitor beside me playing the game in DX9 for me to really see the difference.

This simple line makes Crysis 2 one of the brightest shining stars on the graphics sky.

Tried that and didn't like it. The jaggies were too much for me.

I have since settled for turning everything off Ultra to extreme. Still post processing to High and Low Blur. That's a pretty sweet spot for my system keeping the movement nice and crisp while still looking very nice. I can go higher but can't see any difference but sure can feel it.

I totally understand if some people canīt take it but personally i think the sharpness it brings is amazing. I had more problems with how blurry the game appeared so turning off postmsaa was night and day for me

Don't know what you mean by if "some can't take it". It's whatever suits the eyes of the player. Simple. The settings I use look as good as I can get the game to look for me.

As a side note, I'm going to put in a plug for a good place to buy game activation keys.

EDIT: URL removed

I bought my crysis 2 key for $24. They just send you a picture with the key in it and another picture of registering it in Origin. Really friendly and helpful guys over there. I already had my game installed so I just fired it up and put in the key. Worked perfect. I then opened Origin and registered it. Origin accepted it with no problems. A lot better than spending $60 for it. I didn't know about this place until recently. I'm going to be buying more keys from them in the future. Saves me some money.

Don't complain when EA reject the key for being the wrong region, or if it's marked as stolen. Some of these sites get keys buying and returning retail copies of the game. Other times they buy the key cheap from Asia, Valve banned a ton of Thai keys being used by NA customers when Orange Box came out.

Ain't going to happen dude. You might try doing a little research and checking the site and emailing support there with your concerns. They will assist you. They are just as legit as anyplace else you can buy the game. They have seen selling keys for over 5 years. If they weren't legit, they would have been long gone by now. Once the key is accepted and registered to you with Origin, it's a done deal.

Sorry Mike, but we do not allow posting URLs of the "buy CD key only" sites. Many of them are fraudulent. I am not saying the one you posted necessarily is, but it's easier to remove all links instead of personally checking each site.

There are many stories online about people who paid and had their keys accepted and rejected as stolen, so it's easier to not deal with any of those sites or discussion of them here. I am sure you understand. If you have a problem, feel free to contact a Super Moderator or the Admin.

This.

BTW, I have a problem ViN. I partied with a hooker, and now it burns when I pee. If I'm not mistaken, the mold in bread contains Penicillin. Should I stick with that, or should I make an appointment with The DOC?
