What's good app for playing Blu-ray discs on a PC? Cyberlink came with my Blu-ray burner, but I've been very unimpressed the past few times I tried their software (granted, that was a few years ago), so I'm looking for other programs.

I have been using Arc Soft Total Media Theater 5. I like it better that Cyberlink. It is a matter of personal prefs. You get Cyberlink free with Blue Ray Writers, it works but they drive you crazy with update ads.

Tried it. Liked it. Bought it.
ArcSoft's even got a 20% off sale going this weekend, too.

I like Arcsoft TMT5.
Also, if you miss the holiday related special, you can always go here: http://www.arcsoft.com/public/404page.asp?404URL= and get 20% off at any time. ![]()

I have PowereDVD 11 Ultimate, and it does everything I need too. One neat thing it can do is convert a 2D movie into 3D in real-time. This is pretty neat if you like that sort of thing

WinDVD (not sure the latest version) is also good I heard. They handle the PAP and encryption entirely different from all the other players. I have been told it is a wonder why the studios do not force them out of business, since they do not follow the rules. Anyway, WinDVD will usually play movies when other players will not, because of how it works. I think their interface reeks, so I do not use them.
I also have a lifetime subscription to Slysoft's AnyDVD HD. I rip my BluRays to ISO and store them on my hard drive. I remove the encryption / protection when I rip them. I then use the free CloneDVD (also by Slysoft) to launch the ISO as it was a real disc...Windows does not know the difference, so it launches TMT5 to play the ISO. Makes it easier than grabbing the physical disc. I use MediaBrowser as my movie organizer. So far, I have 11 TB of hard drive space, not counting the 2 TB drive I use as my C drive (and where WMC records my live TV).
