The so called servers will actually be virtualized from what I am reading. Interesting

The F2P essentially is an extended trial version with ability to only play 4 classes out of 12 and only 2 characters at one times.

The F2P also exlcudes many grp and end game raiding or expansion dungeons.

The exclusion of end game content is ok for me but I dont get the limitations of choice of class for F2P.

Is it true that the game doesn't support SLI? A post on the official forums from yesterday says so... Also I'm having some small hickups now and then (running everything on max except grass which is off).

I am not sure that is accurate. An in game friend of mine is using a 590 (sli on by default) with no issues, and she ran 28X SLI prior. She has said her FPS has shot through the roof. I am sure if you use rivatuner or MSI aferburner you can check GPU usage to see if both gpus or more are being utlized during Age of Conan gaming.

I also ran a 295 GTX on this game...but that was before christmas 2010 and it work fine (SLI default on)

BTW the servers go down today 11AM EST to introduce the new FFA PVP server...no guards no restrictions...loot drop in death etc..today

Whats the differences between the new Rage server and Fury?

one is pve and one is pvp (some restrictions)...EU servers i think

"Blood and Glory" / "Deathwish" are new servers in US and EU with ALL OUT PVP (gank or be ganked)....no QQ'ing allowed in here

Must say im loving the new Rage server!

Im lvl 15 now, Even in the Acheronian Ruins you can do PvP .... With these "old school" PvP rules the game is a load of fun.

I havent re-subbed yet though, On a F2P account ... I see even after all these years the Barb still owns in PvP.

Last thime i played this game i had a GTX260, Now i have my GTX580 and playing the game DX10 max settings .... Looks Stunning.

Theres alot of positive things being said in global chat now too.

This could be a ReBirth of AoC. ....w00t!

Sorry I was mistaken..."Rage" is the new EU FFA pvp server

Glad you are enjoyong AoC again This game is graphically stuning (98% of the time, 2% has some anomalies/bugs etc).

There are a lot f2p players ....around but dunno how many will stay. I am hoping they will stay and become premium subber like me

Barbs? OP in PVP i hear u say? lol of course they are Just under Shammies / Rangers / Sins

With loads of CCs and anti CCs if played right are formidable in PvP.

Unfortunately, I am not a pvp person as i suck at it lol!

PvPing take practice ... One of the most important things is setting your keys right so you can circle the enemy while still being able to hit with combos.

Up to now ive had three fights ... Lost one and won two ... The one i lost i was ambushed while fighting a mob ...

Dude i love AoC ... I always will, I bough the game on release and played for around a year+, Cant remember why i quit now.

Ive played games like Guild Wars, Runes of Magic, Rift & WoW etc .... But all the time im playing i just dont get the same feeling i get while playing AoC .... The PvPing in AoC is the best of all the MMO's imo(well the mmo's ive played), It does actually take practice & not just a matter of bashing the same button over and over.

AoC will always have a place in my heart and no matter what, Whenever i thing of AoC it always puts alittle smile on my face.

The game is tust totally Epic in every way.
