260.19.12 driver still gives me a screen with underline "_" on upperleft, with hard freeze state. Vaio CW with Geforce 330M. The log doesn't show nothing.

Same here. Hard freeze and black screen with 260.19.12

Nvidia GT 320M + ubuntu 10.10

Same problem here with lst driver on 330m on sony vaio vpcf12s1e
When I enter startx, blank screnn but an underline at screen top left
The system is accessible throw ssh
in syslog I can see

I tested the 260.19.21 nvidia version driver and still not working on geforce 330m. The same freeze screen with "_" on topleft.

I'm also still having trouble with 260.19.21 and 8400M GS even with xorg 1.7.6. It seems like the exact same problem

I seem to be have the same exact issue originally reported. When i maximize xchat it takes about 10-30 seconds to redraw the window. Also scrolling in firefox is extremely slow and delayed and choppy. Im running fedora 15 64 bit and im using lxde as my DE. Ive also disabled compositing in xorg.

Im not sure what else i can try...but this is becoming extremely annoying and i need to find a fix! Nvidia has always been good to me on linux up until recently...but i guess thats the name of the game when running a free os. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know.
