ASUS E616 & MSI 16x MAX DVD ROM benches

Well i just bought an other DVD as i thought my ASUS drive died on me, wouldn't pick up the discs seemed it was the eject rail misslined pushing it in sorted it out. But by the time i did that i had all ready gone out and bought an MSI 16X DVD rom :0 and a DVD player.

Both have their strenths and weaknesses which would you say it better.
