@270.18 BETA
They just released that driver.

The issue is performance and NOT visual corruption. I have not tried the new beta driver yet, so I do not know if the issue is fixed.

That is correct, the fixes included in 270.18 only addressed rendering problems. The performance issue has been reproduced and is currently being looked at.

We are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. Until the fix is available, please work around this issue by disabling trapezoid acceleration:

`nvidia-settings -a AccelerateTrapezoids=0`

It seemed to work, but scrolling becomes a bit laggy in firefox in certain web pages, e.g. gmail, and in this forum when scrolling to the top where the Message box is displayed on the newreply.php page.

Anyway, I am content that at least you have this bug in your todo list...

This option doesn't seem to be available in 280.11 is it? Scrolling on some web sites in firefox on fedora 15 (gnome-shell) is horribly slow.
