Have you attempted to install Virtual PC on a thumb drive? If that works you can load up Windows 95 or 98 into a VM and install all kinds of games.

How much room is needed for that?

I'm looking right now how to attempt it. You should be able to install VPC 2007 and Windows 98 using about 300MB. Just make sure you setup the virtual hard disk to use on demand provisioning. That way you can make it have a 2GB partition but it will dynamically allocate space. My W98 disk is at 280MB with a few things installed on it.

EDIT: Just tried it... Apparently it won't work because it's missing a monitor driver You could try another program like Virtualbox and see if that will let you run it from a thumb drive.

EDIT2: Grr... Virtual Box doesn't want to work either.... It's missing a com object when I try it on another pc.
