Exclamation NVIDIA RIVA TNT 2 M64 problem :DIES ! HELP....

Hi everybody...
I have this pain in my arse now that i have installed my latest nvidia linux drivers from nvidia.com (drivers that enable OpenGL hwaccel)
i succeeded in installing the driver, and i configured my xf86config file, and when i restart the X server, it displays the nvidia logo, then the login screen appears,everything is fine until it totally freezes....no errors, nothing... I don't know why...i can't move my mouse ..and my keyboard stops working...the system totally freezes...all i can do is manually reset my pc....

whe i replace the driver with my old one everything works fine....


I have redhat 9.0, amd k6 ii 500mhz 192 mb ram, riva tnt2 m64 32 mb RAM,
and the riva package name is:

You don't have a Window manager selected

Try this:

echo "exec startkde" > ~/.xinitrc
chmod 555 ~/.xinitrc
