Cannot load libGL.so, Quake3 in Suse9

I resently installed Suse9 pro with the 4620 nvidia drivers and all seems fine, however when I run quake3 it doesnot load at all.

Other 3d games run fine and Suse 8.2 quake3 worked fine with the 4620's

This is the error.

I've tried running *quake3 +set r_gldriver* but for some reason it cannot find or use the libGL.so that it supposed to use.

Post the output of the command "glxinfo -t".

It didnot know that command so I did whereis,

libGL: /usr/lib/libGL.la /usr/lib/libGL.so

Hmmmm.

Try running the quake3 command with the arguments "+set r_gldriver /usr/lib/libGL.so".

It seems it's just a case of installing the lastest pointrelease patch, this sorted the problem.
