I wonder if this thing will flop as badly as their other attempt:

Eek $2800.

I'd rather buy a highend laptop or Mac and put Windows on it tbh....

I agree. The announcement, the product. Fail. I hope this nonsense doesn't bankrupt Razer. They've had some nice game pads and keyboards lately.

I also agree with mailman. PC gaming is not dead, not outside the US anyway. Sales seem down, but that's because the lists provided to major media outlets do not include digital sales. Outside the US, PC gaming is still the number one platform, especially here in Australia, where console games and hardware often eclipse their PC counterparts.

Having said that, even if PC gaming was dying, unaffordable, laptop is not going to fix it. I just cannot see me playing FPSes, RTSes on a touchpad, adventure games, sure, but I don't need a gaming laptop for that. I can get a netbook, an Air, or just a Dell for that, save a few thousand for my desktop PC.

What do you mean? Gamers love big chunky boxy bit of plastic that light up in primary colours.

Really? I thought it looked better than that alienware crap.. Never liked their designs anyway.

Really? It looks just like a black Macbook Pro with a Razer symbol instead of an Apple logo.
