Didn't have many problems with the game here other then the ****ty online aspect. Really hard to get your friends together and the fact that you cant make your game friends only ruins it even more.

I did have fun with the game. It's not all action and later on it really becomes more about survival then killing things.

Those of you that are having this issue, disable 3D vision in your Nvidia control panel, or open the video settings file in the dead island settings folder in documents with notepad and set your settings manually.

The former worked for me.

It's unfortunate there are so many incompetent people out there....

glad it wasn't a direct port as they made it clear this was developed for console and PC side by side... too bad they let Joe Smith the office intern post the developer code to Steam. PC gaming is suffering because of stupid developers, were still here spending money on this crap they just cant deliver a finished product to us.

Odds on they are the next development team to follow Team Bondi down the crapper.

That sure doesn't look good. My initial impressions from about half an hour of game play this morning were rather meh - nothing special. Looks...ok, but everything feels rather half baked and hurried, but I was only half coffeed and hurried

I really hope this isn't a complete flop. I've really been looking forward to this game.

What a mess this game is. Really, Y to no clip at any time as standard? Major hack QA on this one, will wait for patch.

Played a short bit last night, but was getting motion sick so I had to stop. I had to put in VSync() into the config file manually to get that working, and it did help me a little but still something about the game is making me nauseous.

The mouse control just sucks, I need to lower it to feel right when playing, but in the menus/quest/inventory sections the pointer is so slow it's hard to navigate.

So far I am not impressed at all. Right now I feel like an idiot. I should have checked what engine these guys were using, cause so far there hasn't been one Chrome Engine game that I have played that didn't make me motion sick. Source Engine does it also to a smaller degree, but I seem to be fine with Unreal, Crytek and id engines.

Yea looks like most people think the game is pretty good, especially once the build is straightened out

hrmm Unreal and ID are capped engines and gl finding a Crytek game that can run @ 100 fps... lol.

I prefer more FPS than capped engines, for some reason those really bother me.
